MARIA MANSO In Marin we love food, but we long to find
Cuisine that is plentiful, tasteful, loving & kind.
Hoping wishing for restaurants that offered more
Dining in Marin sometimes makes you ask, what’s it all for?
Now don’t get me wrong in {Marin} good restaurants there are a few,
but even those don’t know completely what to do.
At least that is the way it was, right or wrong.
Then the amazing Maria Manso World cuisine came along.
The food outstanding in its taste and presentation
Maria Manso herself an impeccable reputation.
The culinary world loves her and respects her name.
Asia de Cuba in San Francisco is where she first gained fame.
But now she is in Marin creating the scene
creating food from all over, that’s why it’s called “world cuisine”
The pan seared ahi tuna is a foodies dream.
The California white sea bass & the cowboy steak its texture is like cream.
Maria Manso - her food is good for the soul.
All of it, the guava glazed chicken, the passion fruit salmon, and the nori shrimp roll.
I had a two-hour time limit, but I did not want to wrong her,
The food & the ambiance were so great I had to stay longer.
Maria Manso is wonderful! Her partner Yo Perez is also at the top.
Yo is great with wine, pairing California pinot noir with Maria’s Havana pork chop.
The desserts are also delicious for heavens sake.
There is the traditional Cuban flan, a tempura banana split and my favorite the chocolate sin cake.
The service undeniably superior I must admit.
The mood on jazz nights romantically lit.
Oh! Didn’t I mention the other Maria Manso coup?
On Thursday Friday Saturday nights you can eat food and listen to jazz till 2.
I think you get the message that this is an exceptional place.
Elegant surroundings great service & food with great taste.
