Picco

Can I tell you what gives me personally a big thrill
Is the marin arrival of the culinary master himself Bruce Hill.
Yes the man himself has arrived in the marin mix
Still the executive chef and the partner of San Francisco’s “Bix“

With all the new marin chefs Bruce is going toe to toe
With his own new larkspur location simply called “Picco”.
Lovely and enchanting the bar itself a work of art
When I first arrived I had the ahi tuna tartar for a delectable start.

Then moving to the brentwood heirloom tomatoes with sweet onions,
arugula, and toasted garlic-miso dressing.
But I have to admit vegetable wise the torta of erbette chard
House made ricotta and caramelized leeks basil balsamic, really kept me guessing.

What is erbette anyway? Whatever it is it’s very good
The restaurant itself is outstanding aesthetically pleasing with beautiful brick and wood.
Bruces pork T bone is from venus, his florida prawns are from mars
Bruces history is a meteoric rise that all started at stars.

Self trained with the help of mentors the likes of Mina, Franz, and the legend Tower
Bruce Hill
himself getting his own piece of restaurateur power.
Picco is already a buzz which the owners seem to have that knack
You can relax at the bar, dine in the front, or watch foodie films in the back.

The service is great exactly what you would think
The bartenders remarkable, I sat and had a delicious mint drink.
Wine list prolific and worth every penny
I sipped all the wines looking for at least one bad one, could not find any.

The Drew Review rates this a real winner I think you will agree
Ask Bruce Hill to your table and when he ask who sent you, tell him it was me.
