Scott Howard

I was sipping tea in north beach just kicking back relaxing
wondering what would be the new restaurant at 500 Jackson.
San Francisco has many culinary wonders & culinary matings
some of them outstanding according to the zagat ratings.

Scott Howard has arrived, his skills screams “pop the cork”
His other restaurant is in Marin County its simply called “Fork”.
But now he has put his label and his brand
proclaiming his own name in San Francisco’s culinary land.

The food is good, the presentation artful, the service very nice.
I had the salmon with hama hama, {I really wanted rice}.
My friend had the scallops prepared to perfection.
A beautiful woman next to me had the lamb loin
to which her taste buds had an obvious Connection.

The restaurant is beautiful, the bar is sexy, and with the food we all have dibs.
By the way the rib eye steak is phenomenal and you will swoon for the short ribs.
The wine list is a sensation and remember that I told you this.
Its so good its intoxicating so you do it at your own risk.

Also on Scott Howards menu are Scallops and Caviar, lightly smoked salmon,
fluke sashimi, and oysters all of these raw.
I personally loved his cooked spiced oxtail terrine, and of course the terrine foie gras.
As for salads you must try the white crane ranch greens.
Perhaps the heirloom tomatoes,by the way there are figs and truffles in the summer beans.

Its refreshing when a good restaurant comes to town.
Its even more refreshing if they end up sticking around.
I rate Scott Howard a winner I’m sure you will too.
Until next time Bon apetit your reviewer& friend, Drew.
